Why buy an F2B Goldendoodle?
What is an F2B Goldendoodle?
Maggie, our beautiful, red girl is an F1 Goldendoodle; an F1 is 50% Poodle and 50% Golden Retriever. Jack, our sweet, white boy is an F1B Goldendoodle; F1B means that one of his parents is a purebred Poodle and the other is an F1 Goldendoodle. When you breed an F1B with an F1 you get an F2B.
Why should you choose F2B?
Our F2B puppies are beautiful and unique in that we breed both curly haired and flat haired Goldendoodles. We provide DNA testing to show what your new family member will look like as an adult. Now there is a Goldendoodle for everyone! When you've committed to adopting your fur baby, you will receive a one hour appointment with our family and all the puppies to make sure you have enough time to make the right choice.
A big reason for health problems in purebred dogs is the lack of variety within the gene pool. This is referred to as a lack of vigor. Goldendoodles have a mix of genes from two different gene pools which is called hybrid vigor. Hybrid vigor is defined as, "Increased vigor or other superior qualities arising from the crossbreeding of genetically different animals." F2B Goldendoodles have a better mix of genes than F1 or F1B because they are a second generation.
This all means that you are buying a dog that will be a great member of your family for many, many years!
